Lagos State Calls for Better Care for Orphans and Vulnerable Children

The Lagos State Government has urged public and private stakeholders to work together to improve the lives of orphans and vulnerable children. At a recent meeting, challenges such as lack of family support and access to services were discussed. During the recent OVC Technical Steering Committee Meeting, Oke-Osanyintolu highlighted the need to evaluate ongoing efforts and identify areas for improvement. She pointed out that orphans and vulnerable children often face difficulties such as lack of family support, limited access to basic services, and exposure to exploitation. This meeting aimed to develop better strategies for providing sustainable solutions to these issues.
