Empowering Nigerian Youth: LG’s Commitment to Skill Development and Innovation.
LG, the big electronics company, wants to help young people in Nigeria learn important skills. These skills are super useful for fixing electronics, like installing them, doing repairs, and taking care of them after you buy them.
They made this announcement during a special event in Lagos, organized by Elan Expo. LG’s Head of Marketing for West Africa, Hari Elluru, shared the news. He said LG already has a special school at the University of Lagos where students can learn all about the latest technologies. And guess what? They’re planning to open another one next month, and this time, it’s for everyone, not just university students!
Elluru explained that they’ve found a place for this new school, and they’ll invite students from different schools to come and learn. And once they finish their courses, they can even find jobs and gain experience working with LG products.
LG thinks Nigeria is a great place to show off their cool stuff. They’ve got lots of amazing products, especially in air conditioning for big buildings. Elluru believes Nigeria is growing fast, especially in business air conditioning, and LG has just the right products for the job.
He also mentioned that Nigeria is a fantastic place to invest because there are so many people here. Nigerians love getting their hands on new products with the latest technology, which is great news for LG.
Even though doing business in Nigeria can sometimes be tough, LG is doing really well. They’re happy with the support they’re getting from the government and hope it keeps coming in the future
